THE MAGNOLIA COLLECTION
Ask any New Orleanian, and they’ll say the smell of jasmine in the air and magnolias in the sky is one of the greatest joys of Spring. Last year, I took so many pictures and cuttings of these intoxicating blooms during my daily walks.
Magnolias are a true symbol of New Orleans, and were meant to be a collection to showcase the creamy petals and deep green leaves, a mirror of the hard and soft balance of nature. I am so excited to be sharing this beautiful new collection with you. Enjoy!
CARVED PAINTINGS
Born from my love of carving, thick acrylic paint is built up layer by layer, day by day. The paint is then carved away, line by line, to reveal the shape and movement of each petal. The carving gives a depth and dimensionality that moves with the light and creates shadows in the passing daylight.
